I've tried quite a few leaves from different plants. Tastes range from neutral to actually quite pleasant. The Kobold variety seems to be the most aromatic, with a soft, pine needle-like touch. Others are more like tormentill.
Yeah, ate it raw. Only up to five leaves from each plant because they were not my own, but also because I was focused on getting to know as much varieties as possible. Generally, the yellow ones seem to be most tasty.
I've also tried the silver cinquefoil which seems to be more similar to tormentill, and a couple of other crypto vegetables, like bur chervil (Anthriscus caucalis), enchanter's-nightshade (Circaea lutetiana), ivy-leaved speedwell (Veronica hederifolia) and small flowered cranesbill (Geranium pusillum).`All the mentioned ones were good.
What a wonder it would be to find some of these near here. The anti cavity properties sound particularly of interest now I'm curious also about it's active constituents or other potential modifiers maybe, as seen with MAOIs in tobacco or grapefruit. This was a great article thank you!

That's really useful to know, thank you. You're the first person I've met to try it. Did you just eat it raw?

Incredible, I should look that up!
Great article! I think I have seen it in my neighborhood before!
Love seeing your writing style continue to evolve.
